University of Missouri extension is hosting their annual Farm Financial Outlook Meetings December 11th.
County Engagement Specialist in Ag and Environment Randa Doty says the meeting is primarily to hear economic futures.
"We're inviting producers and lenders and any other ag professionals to come and hear updates on the farm outlooks and crops and livestock. We'll have Scott Brown from MU, ag economist, come and he'll give the outlooks there. Then we also have Joe Horner coming and he's going to talk a little bit about alternate ag. And specifically, he'll focus on industrial hemp production, budgets- they've been putting together at the University of Missouri for the last few years."
The meeting will be December 11th in Saint Joseph at 9 a.m. and in Maryville at 2 p.m.
